Child Safety Policy
Playtime Planning LLC dba Junebug
EFFECTIVE DATE: AUGUST 20, 2026
Playtime Planning LLC dba Junebug ("Junebug," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to promoting child safety on the Junebug mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). This Child Safety Policy describes prohibited content and conduct, Junebug's reporting and response practices, and the responsibilities of parents and caregivers ("Users") and children's activity providers ("Providers"). Use of the Platform is subject to this Policy, which is incorporated into our applicable Terms of Service. This Policy should also be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information.
Our Commitment
Junebug is a two-sided network that connects Users with Providers. The safety of children is our highest priority. This policy describes our approach to preventing and responding to child safety violations on our platform.
We collect only the information about children reasonably necessary to provide activity discovery, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on Junebug and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to appropriate authorities:
- Any content that sexually exploits or abuses minors
- Use of the platform to gain unauthorized or unsupervised access to children
- Sharing of personal information about minors without parental authorization
- Content submitted in reviews or ratings that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors
- Any content or conduct that endangers, exploits, or facilitates harm to children
Provider Content
Junebug allows activity providers to upload photos and other content to their listings. Providers agree through our Provider Terms of Service that all submitted content complies with applicable law and our community guidelines. Content submitted by Providers publishes to the platform without pre-screening. Junebug will remove content that violates this policy upon discovery or notice.
Location Information
Junebug does not collect location information from children and does not track any user's device location in the background.
Location information on our platform works as follows:
- Provider locations. We collect business addresses and program venue locations from providers and display them publicly to parents on maps and in search results.
- Parent location. We collect a parent's location only when the parent explicitly provides it — by entering an address or ZIP code, selecting a point on a map, or tapping the "current location" button. We do not derive a parent's location from an IP address. We use the location to recommend nearby programs, sort results by distance, display relevant activities on the explore map, and determine the geographic relevance of sponsored placements. For sponsored-placement targeting, Junebug uses only a coarse geographic area and not the underlying latitude and longitude.
- What providers see. Providers never receive a parent's precise location or address. Parent location is shared with providers only in anonymized, aggregated, city-level form to help providers understand where interested families are located.
- No sale of location information. We do not sell location information. If our use of location information changes, we will update this policy and our Privacy Policy and provide notice.
Parent Reviews
Junebug allows parents to submit reviews of activity providers. Reviews publish to the platform without pre-screening. Junebug will remove reviews that violate this policy or our community guidelines upon discovery or notice. To report a review, use the in-app Report feature or contact support@junebugfamily.com.
Provider Vetting
Junebug lists activity providers based on publicly available business information. We do not independently verify provider credentials, licenses, or conduct background checks on listed providers or their staff. Parents are encouraged to independently verify provider qualifications, licensing, and safety practices before enrolling their child. Our listing claim process confirms only that the person claiming a listing is associated with the business. It does not verify credentials, licenses, insurance, or background checks, and is not a representation that we have done so.
We do not pre-screen provider content or parent reviews and have no general obligation to monitor the platform. We act on reports and on violations that come to our attention.
Google Reviews
Junebug displays reviews sourced from Google via the Google Places API. These reviews are authored by third parties and do not represent the views of Junebug. To report a concern about a Google review, contact support@junebugfamily.com and we will escalate to Google where appropriate.
Reporting Obligations
Under 18 U.S.C. §2258A, electronic service providers that obtain actual knowledge of apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) are required to report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children CyberTipline at cybertipline.org.
If Junebug becomes aware of any apparent CSAM on our platform, we will immediately preserve the content and related records as required by law, remove it from public view, report the matter to the NCMEC CyberTipline as soon as reasonably possible, and cooperate fully with law enforcement.
How to Report a Child Safety Concern
If you observe content or conduct on Junebug that you believe endangers a child:

We will review all reports and aim to respond within 48 hours. We will take appropriate action including content removal, account suspension, and law enforcement referral where warranted.
